Working at Technopolis

We are always looking for exceptional people to join us, and are happy to receive applications at any time.

We prefer to recruit people with at least a masters' degree or equivalent and two years experience in one or other of the areas in which we work, from research policy to regional innovation. Our evaluation work and international comparative analyses mean we need both specialists in quantitative research methods and in qualitative research methods.

Short-term experts on sectoral and national innovation policies - expression of interest

The Brussels office of Technopolis Group invites applications for experts (freelance or affiliated with an organisation) to carry out tasks as sub-contractors in the framework of two on-going contracts with DG Enterprise of the European Commission:

1) Sectoral Innovation Watch (SYSTEMATIC) - see www.europe-innova.org for more information. (Contract n°022534)

Experts with experience of analysing sectoral innovation trends, sectoral economic studies, sectoral innovation policies and/or of carrying out interviews and case studies with policy makers, other stakeholders and of enterprises at sectoral level  in any of the EU25 Member States (i.e. excluding Romania and Bulgaria).

We are seeking experts with a minimum of 5 years professional experience of carrying out studies for government departments or agencies responsible for innovation or enterprise policies. You should clearly prove this experience by your involvement in at least five studies, technical assistance or evaluation projects in the field of innovation policies in the last 3 years.

We are seeking experts to carry out national level analysis of innovation policies involving the production of a country report and specific monitoring of policy developments in terms of innovation policy measures, thematic briefings on specific issues (e.g. innovation in services, IPR, etc.).

In this case we are seeking experts with at least 5 years experience of analysing innovation policy at national and/or regional levels. Such studies could be either academic or empirical type analysis or studies commissioned by Government departments or agencies.  You should clearly prove this experience by your involvement in at least five studies, technical assistance or evaluation projects in the field of innovation policies in the last 3 years.

In this case we are seeking experts with specific experience of national innovation policies in the following countries: Belgium, Estonia, France, Hungary, Ireland, Japan, Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia and Turkey

3) Application process

For sectoral innovation watch, applications for experts can be submitted until 11 January 2008.

For Inno-Policy TrendChart applications can be submitted until 1 March 2009.
