| Programming of demand driven research, development
of a manual for FMTC and VIS project partners
For a consortium of 11 research programming bodies in Flanders
(including 3 research centres, 2 collective centres and 6
competence poles) Technopolis has developed a manual in order
to help them with the programming of their research, and the
way to include the users of their research in the programming
process. In this way application of research results in practice
may be promoted.
In the manual a cyclic model is introduced for programme management
with four steps: programme delineation, programme design,
programme execution and programme evaluation and knowledge
transfer. Suggestions are presented on how to approach each
step in the cycle and on how to involve users in the programme
design process. Several methodologies are discussed.
Finally the design processes of the 11 participating organisations
are described and discussed.
