We currently also have a project office in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Technopolis was founded in 1989 in Brighton. We were "born global". Our first clients were in Sweden, Finland, Ireland and Germany as well as in the UK.
Our international expansion began in 1996 with the establishment of an Amsterdam office. This was followed by offices in France in 1998; Austria in 2000; Brussels in 2004; Sweden in 2004 with the acquisition of Faugert and Co and the setting up of offices in Ankara and in Tallinn in 2006. Our multinational presence lets us bring a mix of local understanding and language and international understanding to meet client needs.
Not only our geographical reach but also the scope of our activity has
increased. The common thread in our activities is that we work with the
creation of knowledge and its practical application in society. We support the entire policy development and implementation cycle from concepts through policy and strategy development and programme design, management and evaluation as well as the development of governance and institutions. Working at regional, national and international levels we work with research, innovation, SME support, international organisations, university and research institutes, new technologies, clusters and branches of industry, economic and social development, health and life sciences, environment and sustainable development.
We are now moving beyond our original roots in Western Europe - not only through our offices in Tallinn and Ankara but also with projects in China, India, Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Venezuela, Brazil, North America and elsewhere. In total our experience spans 35 countries.
